In the name of the International Public Management Network, I would like to welcome you to our website. As you can see in our mission statement, we are a non-profit network which is organised by scholars around the world.

When we founded IPMN in 1996, we were looking for a new form of collaboration among scholars and practitioners both internationally and interdisciplinarily, using new communication channels for the network. This is why we have been running our online-only journal (International Public Management Review), and our listserv on public management issues. Since then, IPMN has become one of the leading global research networks in the field of International Public Management, with a special focus on public management reforms.

Since 2008, I have been proud to be the president of this resourceful network, co-coordinating it with a core group of people from all continents. I hope that you will find it useful to share your knowledge with us and to become a member of IPMN.
